Voiceover Service Rates

I’m happy to work within many clients’ budgets to deliver a quality voiceover for their projects at a price they can afford.  For additional rate information, custom quotes, or to inquire about a project type that’s not listed here, please contact me.

Animation, Cartoon, Video Game

Up to 3 voices. Pre-lay recording (Recording before animation is done. See Dubbing rates for voiceover for already-produced animation).

  • Broadcast: $300 per hour

  • Non-Broadcast (talking toys, interactive, internet, etc.): $200 per hour

*Buyout required if broadcast animation is sold to another outlet.

Audiobooks

  • $150 per completed hour

Corporate, Industrial, or Training Video

"Per Project" Rates by length of script

  • 0-5 Minutes - $150

  • 5-10 Minutes - $250

  • 10-20 Minutes - $350

  • 20-30 Minutes - $450

    • Longer: additional $100 for every 10 additional minutes

"Per Hour" Work Rates :

$150 per hour
• 1 hour minimum
• Past one hour, $30 per quarter hour
• Discount after first hour: $150 for first hour, $100 per hour afterward.)

Dubbing

Dubbing can be necessary in both animation and live-action projects. I match voiceover to pre-recorded/pre-animated mouth movements. (For "pre-lay" animation rates see "Animation, Cartoon, Video Game.”)

  • Broadcast: $200/hour

  • Non-Broadcast (Internet): $125/hour

 

Note: Dubbing can involve replacing the original language with English-language voiceover or replacing the original voice talent with my voice. Some reasons you might need live-action dubbing include:

  • Replacing the original voice

  • Fixing lines when the live audio is faulty

  • "Cleaning up" language for a TV broadcast of a film (removing profanity, etc.)

  • Providing background "murmur" for crowd scenes

"Per Project" Rates by length of script

  • 0-5 Minutes - $150

  • 5-10 Minutes - $250

  • 10-20 Minutes - $350

  • 20-30 Minutes - $450

    • Longer: additional $100 for every 10 additional minutes

  • Per Project: $500 and up, based on length of script *
